Raffaello arrives in Tunis

On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Raffaello Sanzio's death, the "Opera Omnia" project, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Italian International Cooperation and RaiCom, began in Tunis. The objective is to promote the history and culture of Italy throughout the world. The exhibition is composed of high-definition reproductions of Raphael's masterpieces, now scattered throughout the world's greatest museums.

FERCAM Tunisia, in collaboration with FERCAM Livorno, provided transport for the first leg of the travelling exhibition. Opera Omnia will in fact visit several destinations around the world before returning to Italy in 2021.

FERCAM operators collected the crates containing the exhibition displays in Rome (at RaiCom), stopped at the Farnesina to affix the diplomatic seals, and then transported and carried out customs operations both in Italy and Tunisia. The crates were finally delivered intact to the Musée National d'Art Moderne et Contemporaine, in the City of Culture in Tunis. At the end of the exhibition, FERCAM Tunisia will re-pack the works and transport them to the second leg: Prishtina in Kosovo, where the contract will end.

This new collaboration with the IIC of Tunis confirms a well-established relationship: "Opera Omnia" is the fourth exhibition in 3 years that the IIC has entrusted to FERCAM Tunisia for transport and/or completion of customs and administrative formalities.
